Christopher John Davison, born on 15th October 1948, Venado Tuerto, Santa Fe Province, Argentina, known professionally as Chris de Burgh, is a singer-songwriter and instrumentalist, who began as an art rock performer before starting to write more pop-oriented material. Chris has had several UK top 40 hits, along with a couple in the US, but is more popular elsewhere, especially in Norway and Brazil, his love song The Lady in Red having topped the charts in several countries. De Burgh has sold over 45 million albums worldwide.
