This book spoke to me in many ways, it mirrored what I was feeling the confusion, anger and wonder of an adult world I was just entering. I also have a unique tie to this book and the author. In the Fall of 1997 i was enrolled in a "Home school" like program for my 8th grade year, Linda Ward was my teacher, and she was writting "Choosing" while I was her student. I origionaly read this book in 8x11 printed pages that were color coded fro each "adventure". Each week I would come in having read a section and we would talk about what I thought about the book and how it pertained to my life. I'd like to think that she took to hart what I had to say and valued my comments. I got to witness the evolution of this book along side with my own life. This book should be given to teenager question thier own lives, at such a young age they have no idea what that thier actions have consequnces and it would benifit them in more ways than one. I definetly recommend this book.
Choosing hits the target!

As a young male, I found this ambitious effort at educating young adults right on target. The situations and dialogue pertained to not only my life, but many normal teens as well. The "choose your path" format left me intrigued and caused me to reflect upon my life and my friends. Highly recommended for all young adults.
