Choices

Through the journey of day-to-day we all make decisions we collectively call - our life. In early years someone else takes responsibility for deciding on our behalf. With accumulating years most of us demand self-decision along with more control of day-to-day; it is seen as our "right." A right of passage. A coming of age. Self directive. We've all heard these quotes, these societal mind sets. For most of us those decisions hold no more than a passing thought at the time each was made. We move on to the next event, the next moment. It is only as we begin to reach the end of our journey when days slow, decisions seem fewer, when the sum of our decisions are usually reviewed. Many are seen as innocuous with no real bearing on our lives. Some, even after years have passed, remain dark clouds of lesser favor. In the end it's the decisions we made which create the swaths of fabric that are stitched together forming the final Choices - of our life.
