Ching Shih desired to be the most feared pirate in history, and as Captain of the 'Red Flag Fleet' she commanded several thousand men and twenty gun junks, sailing the coast of Imperial China, amassing more wealth and captives along the way. There was a floating brothel in Canton when Ching Shih worked in her early years as a prostitute. Her beauty was absolutely captivating and many men fell in love with her.
