China or Savannah

Eleven-year-old Paris, currently an only child, lives with her grandmother Daisy in Savannah while both of her parents are deployed with the military. But Paris isn't going to be the only child for long. Her mom is expecting a new baby. Paris and her grandmother get to choose the baby's name.

They are hoping it's a girl, and they both have special names picked out. Paris loves the name, Savannah, because it reminds her of the beautiful city in which she lives with its big oak trees, Spanish moss trees, and beaches. Grandma, on the other hand, picks the name, China, because she loves the scenery, culture, and history of this foreign country. Maybe Mom will have twins so they both get to name the baby
