The discovery of a spacecraft buried beneath the ice in Antarctica leads a team of scholars and scientists on a journey of discovery about the origins of mankind and the makeup of our solar system. The team was put together by the mysterious Gaia Foundation and it's leader Jaryl Henriksen. Bringing together the best and brightest minds from all fields of science and technology, they (along with two Martians) help him unravel the secrets revealed within the buried ship. Their journey begins with the revival of the spacecraft's robotic pilot, dubbed "Isaac". This will take them from Antarctica to Russia, where they will meet the alien Krell caretaker named Alric. He reveals that an ancient enemy race called the Vorax are out to destroy them and are attempting to get into their sacred vault of knowledge known as the Oracle of Glass. It becomes a race to Venus to stop the Vorax and their shape-shifting infiltrator before they can succeed. What secrets will be revealed by the Oracle?
