When the group discovers clues and rumors of an enigmatic disgraced pharmaceutical chemist known only as The Cook, they make their way towards his hidden cabin on Mount Hood, in search of a permanent solution to survive in a world that's doing everything it can to erase them from existence. Children of Apothetae is a harrowing exploration of misanthropy, nihilism, disability, mankind's relationship to the Earth, and the innate necessity of hope--in whatever form it can be found.
