Over ten thousand years ago, a hybrid race of angelic beings and humans, known as the Nephilim. They wrought such great evils upon the world that the powers sent a flood to cover the earth and rid it of these monsters. One family survived the cataclysm.
Five hundred and twenty-five years after the great cataclysm, the survivors have spread out and several city-states have developed around the region. As the long-sundered families reconnect, there are some who suspect the Nephilim have survived.
Tiras, grandson of the Allfather, leads his people in a new kingdom on a small group of islands far to the west of the Ark's resting place.
