I am of the Baby Boomer Generation and what I have learned is this: things from your childhood get dearer. I have overheard people in antique shops countless times exclaiming excitedly, I played with... had one... grew up with one... just like this! How many times have each of us tasted something that reminded us of a dish or food we grew up with and it brought a nostalgic smile to our faces? This is the reason behind this small collection of recipes from Childhood Recipes Revisited. They were passed on to me by my mother and grandmother, I grew up with them and it's time to pass these dishes, simple though they may be, from my generation to the next.
