An Important Book

Child POW A. L. Finch It is almost certain that A.L. Finch is the last person on earth that can tell this story from personal experiences. She was 8-years-old when the Japanese invaded the Philippines while Alice and her mother were there visiting family. The cruelty and viciousness of the Japanese who ran the POW camps was covered up by both countries as part of the agreement for surrender. The details of Alice and her mother's experiences will shock you. The reality of the treatment by the Japanese of our POWs will horrify you. The covering up by our government of details pertaining to the Japanese treatment of POWs for political reasons will disgust you. Time is running out for us to get these personal accounts of the World Wars. Let us gather all we can, lest people forget. We must document these atrocities, and the cover-ups, so that no one can ever deny that they occurred.
