a person is not alive when they are born, they are simply breathing. the recipe to being alive is a pinch of pain, grief, heartbreak, happiness, and love - these ingredients get mixed together and create a beautiful mess. feeling alive is that sensation you get when you are driving down the highway with your windows open or that tingling electricity you have when you touch the hand of the person you love. everyone has a story to tell, but not everyone wishes to share theirs like me. as selfish as it sounds, i did not write this for you; i wrote this for me. proceed with caution and enjoy the tales of my mind.
