Raw and honest

In this collection Feroza invites the reader into a truth so intimate one could feel as though they are reading a personal journal. The power of her words is that she transforms cold clinical language into personal experience and manages to universalize the immigrant experience while allowing one to consider the individual. This collection is important not only as a representation of the Parsi experience but as a representation of the American experience as a whole.
