Free Verse Poetry

I first discovered Kotaro Takamura when I was a college student in the 80's. I was so inspired by him that I wrote several poems of his down in a poetry notebook. Recently I started writing my own poetry, so I decided to look him up again. I ordered his book "Chieko Poems." Once again I discovered how much I admire his poetry. The love poems reveal his deepest thoughts about Love and Life in a intimate, heartfelt way. I highly recommend this book to people who love free verse poetry and the ideas of Whitman, Thoreau and Emmerson.
