This story is about a stray injured kitten that was adopted by a loving family including a little toddler who loved him dearly. He was loved and cared for by many, including his veterinarian and staff. Metz, the little toddler began to open up more and speak more clearly when Chewy was around. Then one day his little body took a turn for the worst. His family was devastated, especially Metz because she didn't understand pet loss.
