The Hidden Garden was a Beverly Hills boutique hideaway after cosmetic surgery which I owned and successfully managed. During this time, the guests unintentionally gave me an insight into becoming ageless. My curiosity began when one of my celebrity guests, wrapped in head bandages and eyes tinted purple, went home and cleaned out her closet. Why this very famous celeb do that? When hearing the same story over, and over, and over again-it hit me. They were not just cleaning out closets . . . they were cleaning up their lives.

About the time I had this aha moment, a TV interview with Ellen Langer led me to the clinical studies devoted to the connection of aging to your mindset-if you tweak your mindset, you change how you age. This connection between her findings and my guests was the discovery of how mind-changing triggers can lead to empowerment and youthfulness. It was then becoming ageless became my personal journey.
How we age is an attitude we choose. If we follow the limits and expectations- stereotypes-with which society has unfairly labeled us, we cut our life short.
