Awesome book

This book was a required read for a class assignment. I was warned against reading professor's books but this one was well worth it. For me it was an easy read. I have learned so much from reading this book. I would also recommend it for anyone who is taking care of someone or even as a gift.

What a great teacher

I have Mr. Battisti for a college class and he a truely amazing instructor. This book is filled with heart-felt love and is a must for anyone taking care of an aging family member.

This Book Touched My Heart and Mind!

It seemed as though each chapter gave me something new to reflect upon. In addition to getting in touch again with my own Italian-American roots, I got some valuable tips from this book to help me in my life today. The stories in "Checchino" are moving...and I also enjoyed reading about the funny things that parents from other countries do when raising their families. Kudos to the author for being able to integrate the past with the future. All my "paisans" are going to get a copy of this book from me!
