Chasms is an adventure story that follows a group of determined friends as they embark on a journey to a distant world that is both exciting and perilous. Labeled as outcasts at school because of their physical impairments, Vince Tripp and his friends have endured taunting laughter and relentless bullies. But bullies are the least of their problems after they are inexplicably whisked away to Pernith, a distant world besieged by a ruthless tyrant and his band of superpowered mercenaries. Plagued by poor health and physical challenges, Vince and his friends cannot understand why they've been summoned to Pernith. However, Vince and his friends soon discover that the cause of their ailments have granted them special powers of their own.
