Chaski Shimi

The implementation of didactic resources and the use of platforms for learning an ancestral language were not necessary for the Kichwa people because the children were born in the Kichwa-speaking community, within their own culture. But the advent of globalization brought with it the mixing of cultures, causing the increase of urbanization, demotivation for the knowledge, sciences and ancestral knowledge of the indigenous peoples and nationalities of Ecuador. Such is the case of the Kichwa language. Nowadays there is not only talk about how to learn an ancestral language, but also how to do it, because as an intangible heritage that identifies the nation, it is necessary to preserve it. Then arises the need to adapt to technological advances by developing user-centered teaching materials where the learning content contributes to the knowledge, traditions and customs of an ancient culture.
