Chasing the Dawn is an excellent anthology of poems. It contains plenty of interesting stories, images, and memories of people from a variety of backgrounds. Lovers of poetry and literature in general will appreciate a finely crafted hardcover book of poems that can be enjoyed all year long. I definitely recommend this book to readers everywhere. You won't regret it.
A Poem for Everyone

---"keep in mind that each verse is the voice of a poet, of a mind that needs to make sense of this world, of a heart that feels the effects of every moment in his life, and perhaps of a memory that is striving to surface (Mellisa S. Mitchell) And this book, Chasing the Dawn. does have a poem for everyone. The artists are international authors who submitted their work to Poetry.com for publication. The editors have done an exceptional job of compiling poetry for every mood in this anthology. This is a book to keep by the bedside, on the coffee table, or on the dining room table to read in spare moments or longer. This is a collection which will remind you of times past or events to come. Look for any emotion; love, hate, joy, sorrow, happiness, despondence, depression or elation, and too many to list---you will find them between the pages of 1 to 239. The presentation is a no nonsense two columns per page format that is easy to read. The index is excellent although an index by content of poems would have been a nice addition. There is also a List of Biographies that helps to acquaint you with the authors. This must own book of poetry will furnish a lifetime of pleasure.
