What do Ikea flat packs, Whistler's Mother, and mysterious comets each have in common with cancer? Well...everything and nothing at all. For Jo Rothwell, they have been the difference between living with cancer and simply living.
Eleven years ago, when those around Jo suddenly began to tread lightly, words were lost, and the manual for behaviour was incomplete. Since then, she has become a student in the cancer classroom. she acknowledges its rebellious nature but understands that it is a part of her. Lessons learnt include; resilience, acceptance, purpose, distraction, adaptability, perspective and a master class in humour.
To counteract cancer's chaos...Jo chases normal.
