The African culture and traditions are at the verge of collapsing due to an enraging influence by modernization and the long term effects of the white man's religion. A section of the elders in a specific selected community raises up with all their mighty determined to fight fiercely in order to defend their culture and traditions but they ends up losing the battle by conceding defeat. Polygamy overpowers the christian supremacy of one man one wife as it manifests itself in previously married men. It provokes the disheartening vice of negligence amongst the men that it manifests itself onto. Education paves its way into the community and overwhelms the minds of two whom embraces it.The two ends up meeting success on their way as they enjoy the fruits of their hardwork. Life hardens on the side of the men when old age and sickness defeats their youthful and energetic productive days. The insatiable greed for materialism in a relationship finally witnesses the men being kicked out of their concubine's homesteads in the cities and they ends up relocating back into the villages. Against all odds, the men finally ends up losing everything that they once possessed including their very own family members
