Life is filled with sunshine and happiness, that is until a mischievous little monster arrives. Who is this little monster? What in the world can he be up to? Oh dear me Will the charming little cottage and the happy young family be safe? Of course, you will need to read to find out Reviewed By: Rosie MalezerReview Rating:5 Stars - Congratulations on your 5-star review Reviewed By Rosie Malezer for Readers' FavoriteCharming and the Muddle Monster is a children's book from the My Favorite Most Truly Fluffy Friend series, written by Pamela Tomlin and illustrated by Tamara Piper. Charming is a house so-named by the new family who comes to see it and ultimately buys it. When the family moves into the home, Charming feels the energy, happiness, and love from the new family and is overcome with joy. Over time, the family makes many shopping trips and unknowingly returns home with a Muddle Monster, known for causing chaos and disharmony from the clutter it creates. When Charming sees the Muddle Monster, the joy quickly transforms into a hoarded mess of things the family does not need until a yard sale becomes the only logical answer, not only taking away the clutter but also the evil Muddle Monster.I have to say the teaching potential of Pamela Tomlin's new book, Charming and the Muddle Monster, is boundless. Many people have a muddle monster which causes their home to be filled with clutter to the point of bursting. My home growing up was no different, with building extensions being done just to house all the new clutter Young readers (and us older readers too) could very easily learn how not to fall into the trap of becoming a hoarder while ridding themselves of all the unwanted junk in their homes. I believe that Charming and the Muddle Monster carries valuable insight about a happy home, regardless of how many live there.
