None other compares to Jane Eyre

If you have never read this great work of art, then I can only say that once you do, you will never come across another which compares. I still have not, though I have tried to find anything as deeply moving, meaningful, beautiful a story, and one so wonderfully well- written as Jane Eyre. My favorite movie version is the A & E version filmed a few years ago (1997, I believe) with Cirian Hinds, the Shakespearean actor, as Mr. Rochester. His portrayal captured most closely my impression of the character, from reading the novel, and I adored the whole script, and the beautiful use of language in that film. Also, the setting was wonderful. If you can find it, get that version. The story is so meanigful, don't leave this world without ever having read Jane Eyre.

Fantastic

I went into this book thinking it would probably be boring. Was I ever wrong! It is the best book I have ever read!

Absolutely beautiful!!!!

I had to read this book for a class assignment and I wasn't too thrilled.... BUT once I started reading... and reading..... I couldn't Stop! It was amazing... brilliant.... beautiful!

sad book with lots of twists

a sad story about the life of an orphan and how her life turned out. It is a tender love story about Jane Eyre and MR. Rochester and how hard it was for them to be together. It is a very mature book but easy reading.

A Heroic Tale for all Ages

A friend of mine recommended this book to me, and I'll never regret the day I accepted his suggestion and got this book. A beloved classic, which I have never in my life heard of, has become my favorite book of all time. Better than Danielle Steel. Better than Stephen King. These are the books that will last for ages to come.
