"A bad joke?"Charlie Siegel has a pretty normal life. Until the notes start. "Charlie is a chicken. Charlie smells. "At first he thinks they are a joke. After all, why would anybody be mean to him?... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I liked this book because charlies life was at home and at school. him and his best friend maddie have a regular life just like any ordinary kid. when you read this book you can understand it because of how the kids are acting. This book is very interesting & well-written. the worst part of this book was how long it was.Like the entergizing bunny it keeps going & going & after a while that gets old and boring. Another thing was i dont think the was very creative. the whole story was about how his life was being ruined & he loses his friend & gets picked on. The two best story elements i think were the setting & the characters. The setting was described very well. In the prewrite i could see the big tree, tou can also see how big & wonderful jessicas house was.The characters were very well done. jessica wasn a popular, selfish snob & charlie a normal person w/ a geek friend, thomas, who hung out w/ him. Maddie was a brave girl who didnt know what to do.
Excellent!

I thought this book was very interesting, the way Charlie wasable to hold up under pressure of the notes and Jessica. I thoughtthe ending wasn't so good. She definitely write a sequel so we can see what happens to Charlie next.
