Charles' Story

A reporter wants to do a feature story on Charles Henderson McCormick, the richest man in town. When no one answers the buzzer at the iron gates to the McCormick estate, and she can find no telephone number listed, she has to do some research. In the background research she is surprised to find that he is a man without a past. No record of a family, his birth, a marriage, or anything else of importance. When she finally does succeed in making contact, he wants nothing to do with her or the story. Just as she is on the verge of throwing in the towel, he has a change of heart. He agrees to do the story, but only if it is on his terms. She didn't know why, but she agreed and the story she got would change her life forever.
