Charles Shumway was an early Latter-day Saint Convert and Pioneer. He lived through the Nauvoo Era, and was one of the first pioneers to enter the Salt Lake Valley. He settled many different towns in Utah, eventually settling in Arizona and founding a town that came to be called after him. His legacy is one of fearlessness, faith, and obedience. His descendants remember his legacy today.
