An Excellent Study

This book will challenge anyone who takes the Bible seriously to consider the charismatic movement or the "third wave" movement as modern signs from God. Get it and read it!

Biblical or Not?

I find this book to be quite informative on this very volatile subject; the author backs his stance with not only logic, but scripture. I personally needed to understand more about this movement, as we encounter it at various levels on the mission field. As it states, this is not an attack on charismatics, but a very well researched look "under the hood" of a movement that has grown over the past 100 years. If you are struggling with issues regarding "tongues" or "baptistim of the spirit" or any number of other issues that this movement claims, I highly recommend reading this book. In fact, I would recommend this book to charismatics, non-charismatics, and those confused about the whole thing for an indepth examination, to understand what the bible says about these issues rather than what man has to say.
