This book explores the forms of expression of sin in Ghanaian Charismatic Christianity in order to identify the ways in which they interpret the biblical view of sin in the traditional context. This has become necessary because there is a perception that charismatic churches in Ghana have their doctrine of sin and salvation clouded by those in African Traditional Religion. The Akan traditional religion (ATR) was selected because it is more representative and influential. Two Ghanaian charismatic churches, Royalhouse Chapel International and Jesus Is Alive Evangelical Ministry were selected. The theology of Charismatic churches in Ghana is the Faith Gospel of success, health and wealth. There are, however, nuances in the application of this gospel. The present work contributes to a sound doctrine of sin and salvation for the Charismatic Movement in Ghana, whose impact on Christianity has been phenomenal.
