The majority of the stories in this book are based on actual events that occurred during my experience as a licensed private detective in the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The purpose of this book is not only to entertain but also to give readers a glimpse of how we operated as licensed private detectives 30+ years ago. At the time, cell phones were not as standard as they are today, and operational protocols were very different. There may be a lack of technology when you read the stories because, of course, they occurred many years ago, but it would be interesting for people to notice how actual cases were conducted. Several of these stories include cases from not only my PI files but also those of a colleague, Tom Krempa. He and I sometimes conducted investigations and security operations together.
