Changing trends: The role of village workers in Uganda

The main objective of the study was to study the contribution of the Village Health Teams in the provision of health services in Kyotera town council. The research has demonstrated that despite the challenges faced by the Village Health Workers in Kyotera town council, they have still been able to live up to expectations and deliver health services to the people as well as bridge the gap between the people and professional health service providers.
