Winston Rigsby was a child raised by a community. Dark Hollow was were he grew up with a host of friends and few of them were his age. Growing older he becomes the first person to leave the community in almost a quarter century. Its not until he is contacted to return for his fathers funeral that things began to go haywire. Terrified of flying, Winston must travel cross country, from his home in California, to the place of his birth in Kentucky. Along the way he encounters many obstacles, including criminals, drugs, wild animals, and love. Follow Winston on what should have been a simple journey filled with grieving but ends up being so much more as he is reminded of the lessons he was taught as a child.
