Changing Faces

Stories don't always have a happy ending, and sometimes you experience the bad things in life. Walk with me as I take you on a trip into a reality that lives in the crawl space of my mind, where nightmares occur while you're wide awake Enter this world of Kandy Johnson if you dare and step inside her shoes, and see if you can sympathize just one mile of the treacherous road she wandered. Follow her as she endured the brutal lessons bestowed upon her by life during her precious young lifespan. Kandy couldn't determine if the people she encountered throughout her journey had a changing face or not. Faces that would appear to be smiling that would turn into frowns eventually. Kandy didn't know who to trust, or whose intentions were good or bad. Walk with this young woman as she's forced through womanhood without being spared by the cruel intentions of others. Kandy had no time for dolls and jump ropes, and you all shall bear witness to how her childhood and adolescence was ripped from under her and carried away with the debris of the streets. One can only wonder where these roads shall take Kandy, and if you're willing, I will lead the way. Life and how we coexist with others will be questioned after reading Kandy's Johnson story. Some of you will relate, and others' thoughts shall be at a standstill. Every day above ground is a blessing, and sometimes people don't get that lesson. Throughout this tainted tale, I want the audience to determine which road Kandy could have taken, and what other alternative was there for a young woman drawn into the streets? Only the strongest shall survive, and I would be delighted if you all would join me on my virtual walk- through of Kandy's Johnson life.
