In this book we express the difficulties of being in a same-sex relationship as it concerned employment, family, the military, etc. But then, trying to be as open as possible about our life together and our love, we wanted to let our readers know that life for us was not beautiful all the time. We have had trials and tribulations in our relationship. Today, many see us and say I want what you have. What we have is true love. I say true love, because love never gives up or quit. True love is about fixing what is broken. Many trashes the broken, never taking the time to see the jewel within the broken pieces. Word of advice stand for something or keep falling for anything. Why? Nothing worth having comes easy. If you are going to love someone, love someone worth your fight.
