Broad comedy heist-romance about a hapless barber whose life takes a turn for the worse when he accidentally ends up in possession of a stolen treasure trove of ancient coins. As he tries to figure out how to profit from this twist of fate, he encounters a series of bizarre characters, many of whom have their designs on his treasure and on each other. Attempting to extricate himself from a steadily and hilariosly worsening chain of mishaps, the barber falls for the beautiful detective investigating the crime.
