The attention Georgia once craved, she avoided. Georgia hid in the shadow of her occupation. She took interest in conversations with others.

If the truth were ever to get out, Georgia prepared to smile and pretend it was all a rumor.

After failed attempts to fix herself and mold her life to fit into Talon's perfect box, she aimlessly fantasized her escape.

Talon made her a prisoner in the home she created for them. The savings she had earned for their life together he had burned through on sports bets and booze.
