C.E.O.: College is Extremely Overrated

Let's be honest. College isn't a gateway to success. The College Degree is not a resume booster or a guarantee that you'll get the career you're looking for. The landscape of the American economy has shifted dramatically. The Great Recession has changed the way we view job security and the types of careers we choose. Innovation has changed the way we do business, and technology continues to change industries as well as potential career opportunities. Information has never been more available than it is today. The way we work, the quality of life we enjoy, and the way we consume information is constantly changing. But our advice to youth seems to be stuck in the 1950s. What if we told people to pursue business opportunities rather than a college degree?
