Artificial Intelligence (AI) has enabled society to collect, digitize, analyze, and use data at amazing speed. This has led to the creation of new technologies, greater efficiency, and more rational decision making. Many aspects of producing goods and providing services moved out of human hands. The Evolution section describes life in the year 2101 with a first-person account of employment, travel, a Social Credit system, government operations, family life, and education. The AI-enabled lifestyle with cybs spouses leads to a dramatic decline in population. Of overriding concern at this time is planet restoration. The Substitution section describes life in 2150. By then cybs are taking the place of humans not only for routine manufacturing jobs, but virtually all jobs, including holding elective offices. By then AI-enabled cybs are making what were once emotional political decisions with programmed intelligence and rationality. The Revolution section describes life in 2199. Humans finally recognize that though planet restoration has great value for nature, it also has a cost for humans whose population has plummeted dangerously. The Do-Over section describes life in 2222. That era is described by an 18-year-old who has survived the AI-powered era to step out into a new and fresh world and launch a "second draft" of human habitation on planet Earth. Century 22 looks into the future to see how these seismic changes might affect personal, social, business, environmental, and governmental activity.
