With a career spanning of over 30 years, Celine Dion is one of the most successful artists in pop music history. This project was created in June of 2014, in effort to give a wide variety of fans the opportunity to express their gratitude to Celine for the mutual devotion over the years. When Celine announced her hiatus in August of 2014, the fans came together to share their support for Rene and the project spread internationally. Over 300 fans from 90 countries have shared their stories in this book, featuring stories about surviving hardships of natural disasters, disease, abuse, addiction and other ways Celine has been an influence in their lives. As a way to not only give back through words, the fans gave back in actions. Participants in this project donated a small amount to the project which was then donated to the Celine Dion Foundation for Cystic Fibrosis on behalf of all the fans.The creators of this book were given the honor to present an enhanced version of this book personally to Celine in Las Vegas on January 10th, 2016, just four days prior to Mr. Rene Angelil's passing.
