Please keep in mind that these books were printed in 1986 & 1991. While some of the breeds are common now, others are still very rare! A couple breeds which are now AKC recognized are only represented by line drawings, however all the b/w photos are clear and of good quality. Each breed synopsis is quite informative. My only disappointment is that I thought I ordered the volume with the Long Haired Whippet in it, but it was not. Vol 1 has a red cover; Vol 2 has a blue cover.
