Extremely insightful and worthwhile!

This is a beautiful collection of Bloomfield's masterful writing. He has poured his heart and soul into many columns over the years, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading each one of them! His insightful and worthwhile perspective is very encouraging and hopeful. This is the book that stays accessible; one that you reach for to spark meaningful conversation or pensive thought - and to be reminded that humanity is definitely worth celebrating! These reflections, insights, and hope for a united planet are exactly what's needed in the world today! Bravo!

Enlightening

This book is a very easy and wonderful read. I learned a lot while reading. It opens up your eyes to the different forms of prejudice that there is. I now catch myself very often doing or saying certain things and correct them quickly. I had always considered myself a very open minded and loving, and caring person. But this book has shown me that I still have a long way to go, with regards to the many cultural things that have been instilled in me from a child. Having read this book, each day I grow a little bit more, which has been a most wonderful feeling. I smile more often, and I feel so much more love for fellow humans. Life is great!!! I highly, highly recommend this book to every human being on planet earth.

This collection of the authors columns shows that there really are people out there who 'get it'. Great read and inspirational. If everyone thought like this, we would have successfully created a better world.

A course on unity

Over the years, Jack Bloomfield has written a lot about what divides us: the "Us versus Them" ideas that populate our heads; the "My Group against Your Group" mentality. Why religion, politics, race and culture, among other things, are used to divide us? Why so many people in the world insist in pointing out differences and refuse to recognize similarities? Jack has always offered a solution to division in the world. According to him, we are moving in the right direction and there is a shift to a higher consciousness taking place. The creation of a united planet will not come only through a change in our thought patterns, but also through what he describes as the "4 Steps to Promote Unity: Get Closer, Educate Yourself, Speak Up, and Take Action." I recommend this book to everyone who wants to have an intelligent dialogue about the path towards peace and unity.
