This is a bilingual book, with English on one page, and the same information on the opposite page but in another language. CAW is a raven who was born deformed. His community was destroyed by a greedy farmer who poisoned the land. As CAW finds his place in this world, he learns valuable lessons and makes lasting friendships.
An evil farmer obtains an organic farm in northern Maine. He proceeds to use chemicals and poisons. This leads to the death of an entire congress of ravens, except for one; CAW. CAW hatches from his shell not only alone, but also deformed.
CAW learns life lessons; both comical and sad. Eventually he understands what family means and saves the day.
