A fun, original, funny and charming introduction to cats

I just finished reading this wonderfully written and illustrated book, and I still have a warm feeling inside. Here's one of which you can truly say, "They don't make 'em like that any more." Bronson's delightful illustrations capture the subtlety of cat expressions with just the slightest and most charming hint of exaggeration. His knowledge of cat behavior and anatomy is clearly deep, and he gives us exactly as much information as the novice could want or need. Best of all, there is nothing fey or precious about his illustrations or his writing. He gives us cats as they are, transmuted through his singular talent and down-to-earth sensibility. This book is a little classic, I think.
