Catholics, Wake Up!: Be a Spiritual Warrior

By Jesse Romero

Book Overview

Jesse Romero believes that Catholics are called to radically live their faith, not just study it, talk about it, and hide their light under a bushel. For those who find themselves living in a kind of spiritual coma, Jesse jolts them out of that lukewarm, tepid state. Instead of passively allowing circumstances wash over you, Catholics, Wake Up! shows how to claim every situation for the Lord. We are called to be spiritual warriors, and are meant to triumph with God's strength over life's difficulties. This powerful book will energize and empower you to take action and live your Catholic faith vibrantly and courageously.

What an absolute turn off of a pitch for .... what....greater piety? Hardly

This whole proposal that Christian faith should hew to an attitude of "combat" and "war" and "warriors" and "defeat" and yadda yadda drives me nuts. It is SO unfaithful to what the Bible depicts as the attitude of Christ not just to his fellow man, but to sinners in particular. Who would want anything to do with such an approach. A total turn off. And if you want to see what so discredits it, just look below at the "similar items" laid out in a row. Especially the "Catholic Vote For Trump" cover you'll see there, by yet another despicable hypocrite Trump sycophant. This approach is bleeding white the merit of Christianity. No one has done more in the last 3 decades, especially the last one, to discredit and demolish the world's respect for Christians than Christians themselves, especially the "Evangelical Christians", and more especially the white ones. They've made complete fools of themselves, and a total mockery of Christianity and Christ. It's hard to imagine something more shameful.
