Nearly 2000 years ago Early Christians in Rome would celebrate special events by making a pilgrimage to the catacombsto visit those Christians who had "Fallen asleep in Christ."These pilgrimages were sources of joyful reflection on the nature of Christ's victory over death in his cross and resurrection.This year marks the 150th anniversary of the Foundation of the Diocese of Columbus- and like those ancient Romans.We, too, will visit those who have gone before us marked with the sign of faith with an eye to the future of Hope and mercy in Jesus Christ.This year the Diocese of Columbus presents The Catholic Church Tour: The Shepherds of the Columbus.
