The great thing about this book is that it's suitable for so many different ages. You can talk about what's going on in each picture with a 2/3 year old (e.g. Do you know someone who sucks their thumb? ) name the colours, talk about the action and find the bunny hiding on every page plus do some simple colouring in the activity pages. For the 4/5 year olds there are letters to recognise that they may have already learned e.g. the letter beginning their name and they can begin to recognise easy words. In the activity pages there is also a counting game and a game of things to find in the book; both perfect for this age. For the 6 year olds it's a perfect book for advancing reading skills and there is a more complicated game at the back 'Rhyming Pairs' plus they can also read the questions for 'Look in the Book' and search the pages for the answers. So, if you have young children of various ages, this is the perfect book for all of them 'Four lines of simple rhyming text per page.
