Reading ability is the key to student success, and helping teachers and parents inprove reading ability in children is what Dr. Hebert is all about. Practical solutions and "feel good" anecdotes and lessons are part of why this effort is a winner. If the education of our children is an important issue to you, you should pick this book up...a true manual for success.

What a wonderful resource for teachers! I conducted a weekly study group with ten teachers that read and discussed Connie's book. We all loved it! We are awaiting another book from Connie. I have had the pleasure of attending several of Connie's workshop in addition to Connie giving workshops at my school. She is so inspirational. After reading her book we all wanted to stand on our chairs and celebrate students learning how to read!!
