Pretty basic. Not very specific to catahoula.

It gives you a little background on catahoulas but when you get to the training section it's pretty general to all dogs. Might as well have written a general training book on pups or dogs but better. Even the general stuff in the book isn't very specific. There are a couple of plugs for different products and other bits feel like advertising for dog whisperers which the author is. That said I learned a couple of tips but I regret this purchase. Probably could have learned those tips in any other training book and more in depth.
