Great characters, suspenseful ride

A real page-turner, Casey's Revenge kept me on the edge of my seat with its plot twists and believable characters. The psychological reactions the heroine goes through after her ordeal are completely realistic as are the drastic steps she decides to take... The setting is colorful and authentic -- loads of fun for "locals" to enjoy and others to get a genuine taste of the Savannah atmosphere.

Great Local Color

Mary Charles does a great job of incorporating Savannah and South Georgia local color into the book. A fun but frightening, suspenseful read!

Like Strong Female Protagonists?

This is a book for fans of psychological suspense, those among us who delight in the creepy-crawly nature of the human psyche and why we do what we do. It's not always an easy book-- there were parts I had a hard time reading-- but it's true, and it's real and it's about things that matter, things like being true to your instincts and taking responsibility for your actions and understanding that the fight between good versus evil is really played out in the human heart. Read it.

This book was one of the best thrillers that I have read in very long time. It keep you on the edge of your seat, not wanting to know what happens next but you are unable to put the book down. I loved Tarka and rooted for that lovable scamp the whole time. A very exciting ending......good for those folks that love a to be on the edge.
