Case Zero
Detective Grace Kirkwood has spent six years learning a simple truth: evidence doesn't lie - people do.
Her first major case was a fatal car fire on a quiet rural road. The scene was chaotic, the evidence limited, and the answers unclear. What remained pointed in one direction, and it was enough to make an arrest. The case was closed. Justice, as far as anyone knew, was served.
Grace moved on.
Until the package arrived.
No return address. No explanation. Inside is a single item and a note claiming it was evidence from that very first case - evidence that was never logged, never documented, and never supposed to exist.
With the help of CSI lead Mara Vance, Grace is forced to reopen the case that started it all. As they work back through old reports, burned evidence, and overlooked details, the foundation of the original investigation begins to crack.
Was something missed?
Was something ignored?
Or was the truth never fully uncovered to begin with?
Now, Grace must determine whether this new piece of evidence is real - and what it means for the person who has spent years behind bars.
Because if the evidence is right...
Everything else was wrong.
CASE ZERO is a forensic thriller grounded in real investigative principles, where every detail matters - and the smallest oversight can change everything.
