Conquering Casca!

This novel was a historical treat, but still somehow coming up short, overall. It could have been better. But after reading some of the others after book 14, it definately could have been much worse. The cover art is wonderful here. And the book, reminiscent of Book #2, God of Death, but not nearly as good, is still a crowning achivement in historical adventure. Casca fans just want more action and adventure, watching to see how many ways Casca can die, only to come back to bloody life. Well worth your time.
